REACTION: Edwards 'It was a disappointing goal to give away'

17 December 2016

Boss reflects on Wycombe defeat

Manager Andy Edwards was left frustrated in the manner of the goal conceded following the O's 1-0 defeat at Wycombe Wanderers.

Former Orient striker Scott Kashket scored what proved to be the difference between the two sides at Adams Park, and Edwards was disappointed that the O's could not build on their first half performance.

Whilst accepting Wycombe currently find themselves in a rich vein of form, the Orient boss hoped to see more from his side as an attacking force in the second period on the back of Paul McCallum having a goal disallowed just before the break for offside.
