REACTION: Baudry - 'We lost our way'

15 February 2016

O's captain discusses Northampton defeat

Leyton Orient captain Mathieu Baudry felt that the O's lost their way during the second half of Saturday's defeat at home to Northampton Town.

Looking back on the first half, the French defender felt that Orient matched the league leaders but following the restart impressive strikes from Rod McDonald and Ricky Holmes put the Cobblers ahead before James Collins scored twice late on.

"We started well in the first 45 minutes and restricted them to very little. We had a few chances but then in the second half they scored two great goals and we lost our way a little bit," Baudry told Orient PlayerHD.

"They are up there in the table because they do all the right things. They punished us with the two great finishes and we need to learn from that because that is where we want to be."
