Tomorrow won't be unfamiliar territory for Jerome Binnom-Williams, as he hopes to impress from the off following his loan move from Premier League side Crystal Palace.
The defender completed the move on transfer deadline day and is pleased to have settled in straight away.
"The first couple of days have been good. The lads have made me feel welcome and the Gaffer has been really good with me," Binnom-Williams told Orient PlayerHD.
"I had just finished playing an U21s game for Crystal Palace and I was told there was interest from Orient and a few other clubs. I picked Orient because I knew they were doing well and I am looking forward to doing well here.
"I know Paul McCallum, Blair and Frazer so that has helped me settle in nicely and I already feel comfortable."
Binnom-Williams has also had loan spells with Burton Albion and Southend United, and it was while the 20-year-old was on loan with the Shrimpers that he made his first professional start - against Portsmouth.
"Since coming back from Burton I have been playing U21s and it is all about keeping fit as well. I have worked hard so I feel ready to go straight in and Hopefully I get a start at Portsmouth, fingers crossed. It is a good squad and there is no reason why we can't win promotion.
"Pompey was my first league game when I was on loan at Southend so Fratton Park isn't new to me. It's a bit spooky how that has happened, but hopefully we can go there, pick up the three points and get back up and into the Play-Off places."
