REACTION: Hendon 'It's poor defending'

2 January 2016

O's Head Coach reflects on Stevenage point

Leyton Orient Head Coach Ian Hendon was left ruing defensive errors despite the O's late equaliser at Stevenage this afternoon.

Jay Simpson had given Orient the lead from the penalty spot on the hour, but Stevenage responded with two goals within of the space of five minutes from Armand Gnanduillet to edge ahead.

With the match deep into stoppage time Simpson equalised with his 20th goal of the season, and despite having further chances to snatch a win Hendon admits that the team must defend better.
