BREAKING: Hessenthaler confirmed as Orient boss

3 June 2016

Leyton Orient are pleased to confirm that Andy Hessenthaler has signed a one-year contract to become the Club’s new manager.

The President Francesco Becchetti is pleased to confirm that Andy Hessenthaler has signed a one-year contract to become the Club’s new manager.

Following an interview process conducted directly by the Chairman, the Club are confident they have the right man for the job and believe Andy’s expertise, spirit and passion made him the stand-out candidate for the position.

Hessenthaler, who was previously assistant manager to both Ian Hendon and Kevin Nolan over the course of the season, was handed the caretaker position for the final five games of the 2015-16 League Two campaign, and will now take over as manager on a permanent basis after agreeing a one-year deal, with an option of an extension.
