Leyton Orient can confirm the signing of left back Josh Doherty, following his release from Premier League side Watford.
The 20-year-old has signed an initial one year deal with an option of a second with the O’s, and will link up with his new team-mates on July 1.
Doherty is a youth international for his native Northern Ireland, and moved over to England when he signed for the Hornets in 2012 after coming through the Academy at Ards.
The youngster made one appearance for the Vicarage Road outfit as an 80th minute substitute at Huddersfield Town on May 3, 2014.
Doherty is the second O’s signing of the day, following hot on the heels of Robbie Weir’s arrival this morning.
An interview with the youngster will be available later on this evening.
