NEWS: O's appoint Brennan as Goalkeeper Coach

15 June 2016

Brennan returns to E10

Leyton Orient can confirm the appointment of Martin Brennan as first team goalkeeper coach from July 1.

Brennan has signed a one-year deal with the O’s and comes to the Matchroom Stadium having spent four years at Fulham, serving both the first team and Under-21 squad.

On signing for the O’s, Brennan told leytonorient.com: “I am very excited to be back at the Club for a third time and to get started.

“I was here from the ages of 9 to 13 and then I came back to coach when the Academy was the Centre of Excellence.

“It is always a club that I have looked out for and as well as living in the area it is a club my dad took me to as a kid."

The 33-year-old initially spent his youth career with the O’s, before also returning at the end of his playing career  to coach the Academy U9-U16 goalkeepers, and now links up with Orient for a third spell.

Prior to coaching at Fulham, Brennan was working with the Under-21 goalkeepers at Tottenham Hotspur, before linking up with Wycombe Wanderers for three years under both Peter Taylor and Gary Waddock.
