Information on all the Orient youngsters currently out on loan
A number of O’s youngsters are currently out on loan, gaining experience in non-league football, and here is a round-up of their latest action:
Scott Kashket (Welling 0-1 Gateshead – Conference National)
The O’s striker played the entire match as the Wings lost out to Play-Off chasing Gateshead at Park View Road on Saturday.
Alex Whitmore’s strike on the stroke of half time sealed defeat for the Wings, despite Kashket linking up well with fellow striker Michael Bakare in attack.
Welling find themselves 10 points off safety going into their final seven games of the season and next up for the Kent side is a trip to Play-Off hopefuls Eastleigh.
Sam Ling and Jack Humphrey (Redditch United 1-0 Histon – Southern Premier Division)
Both Sam Ling and Jack Humphrey featured from the off as Histon lost out 1-0 at Redditch United.
George Carline netted the only goal of the game with four minutes remaining to seal defeat for Steve Fallon’s side, and the result leaves them six points shy of safety as they prepare for their remaining six fixtures.
Histon host 15th placed Merthyr Town on Saturday.
Monel Agyemang’s Grays Athletic were without a game at the weekend, but travel to Bognor Regis Town in Ryman Premier Division action on Thursday, while Freddy Moncur has picked up an injury during his loan spell at fellow Ryman Premier Division side Wingate & Finchley.
