Player-manager previews tomorrow's encounter with Luton TownTwo in-form sides come up against each other tomorrow as the O’s face Luton Town at the Matchroom Stadium.
Orient are unbeaten in their last three games, while Nathan Jones’ Luton enter the game on a three-game winning run of their own, and taking all that into consideration the O’s boss Kevin Nolan expects an intriguing encounter.
“They are a very good team who are set up well. They have had some good wins over the last few weeks,” Nolan told Orient Player HD.
“Winning breeds confidence and a couple of the lads know Nathan and what he is about. He was a good player in this day and hopefully we will have a good game where we came on top and dent in their nice little record they have at the moment.”
Nolan was happy with the impact substitutes Sammy Moore and Ollie Palmer had on Tuesday’s game, while he will also assess the fitness of Jobi McAnuff and Armand Gnanduillet, with the former missing the last two games with an ankle injury and Gnanduillet the trip to Carlisle.
“It was definitely a deserved point against Carlisle on Tuesday and we were disappointed to not get the three points,” he added.
“I was disappointed with Keith Curle’s comments afterwards and he was very rude in what he said and his remarks in his post-match press conference and it has left me a little upset but I am pleased with the way we responded and dictated the game in the second half.
“I thought it was more our bad play in the first half then their good play but more often than not in the second half we got things right and that’s why we got back into the game easily.”
