PREVIEW: Massey - "We have to put things right'

11 November 2016

Former U eager for O's to bounce back from 'unacceptable' FA Cup showing

Winger Gavin Massey feels the players owe it to the fans to pick up three points on Saturday at his former side Colchester United given last weekend's FA Cup exit.

The O's lost out 6-0 at Bramall Lane on Sunday and the 24-year-old admitted the performance was unacceptable and knows they have to start making amends for that defeat.

A victory could move the O's out of the relegation places on Massey's first return to the Weston Homes Community Stadium following his summer move to the O's on a three-year deal, with the winger keen to start a run of good results against the U's.
