PREVIEW: Leyton Orient v Crewe Alexandra

28 October 2016

All the information and team news ahead of the O's encounter with the Railwaymen

The O’s are hoping to make it back-to-back victories under Alberto Cavasin when Crewe Alexandra make the trip to the Matchroom Stadium tomorrow.

Cavasin’s side picked up a 3-1 win at Hartlepool United last weekend after a double from Ollie Palmer and one for Sandro Semedo for the first three-point haul since September 5 in a 2-1 triumph at Morecambe.

Going into this weekend’s fixture the O’s lie in 20th position in League Two, while Crewe find themselves in 12th spot after a run of six games without a victory.

The Railwaymen have drawn four of the last six games, though last time out lost 1-0 at home to Yeovil Town after Matty Dolan’s strike proved enough for the Glovers to take all three points.

On their travels, Alex have picked up nine points from seven games, with victories at Stevenage (2-1) and Grimsby (2-0), alongside 1-1 draws at Newport County, Luton Town and Notts County.

TEAM NEWS

The O’s will leave it late to make decisions on several injured players.

Yvan Erichot, Aron Pollock, Jay Simpson and Paul McCallum all missed out at Hartlepool United last week, and remain doubts for this weekend’s encounter with the Railwaymen.

A definite absentee is loanee Harry Cornick who is continuing his recovery following a groin injury picked up in the goalless draw at Barnet earlier this month.
