PREVIEW: Carlisle United v Leyton Orient

9 September 2016

All the information ahead of the O's visit to Brunton Park

Orient will look to make it back-to-back league wins when they make the trip to unbeaten Carlisle United tomorrow.

The O’s picked up a welcome 2-1 win last weekend at Morecambe thanks to Liam Kelly’s third goal in as many league games and Jordan Bower’s first strike for the club.

Andy Hessenthaler’s side sit seventh in the table going into the game, two places ahead of the Cumbrians who have yet to taste defeat from their opening six games of the season.

Last time out, Carlisle  picked up a 1-1 draw with Accrington Stanley at Brunton Park.

Billy Kee had given Stanley the lead, before former O Nicky Adams ensured a share of the spoils for Keith Curle’s side.

Striker Jay Simpson remains ruled out for the trip to Cumbria with a back injury, but it is hoped he will return to full training next week.

Midfielder Nigel Atangana missed out last weekend at Morecambe with a groin/hip flexor injury, but other than that the O’s have a fully fit squad to pick from going into the game.

BETTING (Odds correct at time of preview)

Sky Bet make Leyton Orient the 12/5 outsiders to return from their long trip north to Carlisle with a three-point haul.
The Cumbrians are priced up as Sky Bet’s 11/10 favourites for the win with home advantage and the draw is also available at 12/5.
Both teams have scored in all of Orient’s last four games and Sky Bet go odds-on at 4/5 that both teams find the back of the net in this match (11/10 they don’t).
