PREVIEW: Weir - 'We have to build on last week's win'

9 September 2016

Skipper keen for the O's to put down a marker

Orient captain Robbie Weir believes they can show the rest of League Two what the O's are all about by coming away with a positive result at Carlisle United tomorrow.

Andy Hessenthaler's side find themselves in seventh place in the table going into the match, but come up against stiff opposition in the shape of the unbeaten Cumbrians.

Weir feels it is imperative to build on last week's solid showing at Morecambe, and has been pleased with how the build up has gone.

The 28-year-old is also happy to be back in the starting XI in recent weeks alongside Liam Kelly, and feels now is he getting back to somewhere near his best after picking up an illness on the eve of the League Two campaign.
