PREVIEW: Riza - 'They will pose us a serious threat'

28 April 2017

O's boss ahead of final home game of the season

Manager Omer Riza would love nothing more than for his side to end our Sky Bet League Two home campaign with a positive performance and result against local rivals Colchester United tomorrow.

The O's relegation was confirmed following last weekend's 3-0 defeat at Crewe Alexandra, and although tomorrow will be a sad day for everyone involved with the club, the 37-year-old is eager for his side to put on a strong, attacking display.

Orient picked up a 3-0 win over John McGreal's side at the Weston Homes Community Stadium back in November, and Riza is sure the U's will want to avenge that loss, while also continuing their hunt for a play-off spot.

Despite relegation already sealed, Riza believes his side have to end the season professionally against both Colchester and the following weekend's opponents Blackpool, with both teams still harbouring hopes of promotion.
