O's goalkeeper keen to start winning run at YeovilFor O's goalkeeper Sam Sargeant, Huish Park holds some fond memories and he's looking for more of the same when the O's line up against the Glovers tomorrow afternoon.
The 19-year-old made his first-team debut for the O's in Somerset, making several fine saves as Orient went on to record a final-day 1-0 win over Darren Way's side, and he is keen for a repeat this time around.
Sargeant has made five appearances for the O's this term, including starts in the last two games against Carlisle United and Morecambe.
Both games didn't end in the result the goalkeeper had hoped for, but he feels he is learning with every minute out on the pitch, and hopes to repay the faith shown in him by helping the O's turn results around, starting this weekend.
The youngster, who signed a two-year professional contract in the summer, has praised the O's 'Goalkeeping Union', with both Alex Cisak and Charlie Grainger always there for help and advice as well as goalkeeper coach Martin Brennan, and believes Orient have the team spirit and togetherness to bounce back from recent disappointments.
