Striker keen to take O's good end to 2016 into the New YearO's striker Ollie Palmer hopes the side can take their solid end to 2016 into the New Year when making the trip to Exeter City tomorrow.
Palmer came off the bench in Orient's 1-1 draw with Cambridge United on New Year's Eve and netted the dramatic late equaliser for his fifth goal of the campaign.
The 24-year-old believed the O's showed character in abundance to claim the point against a U's side who had won their last six games.
The point saw the O's end the calendar year with just one defeat in four games and Palmer hopes to take that good run into the new year when they head to St James Park looking to avenge a 1-0 home loss to the Grecians at the end of November.
Palmer admitted his frustration at not featuring too much of late, but hopes his contribution on New Year's Eve can put him back in contention for a starting XI spot.
