Orient winger reflects on South Coast lossO's midfielder Gavin Massey admitted conceding a second goal so early in the second half proved costly in the 2-1 loss to Portsmouth on Saturday.
The 24-year-old had scored a stunning curling effort to level matters at the break after Orient initially fell behind to Conor Chaplin's effort.
But Chaplin netted a second two minutes after the restart and Massey believed it was always going to be tough from that moment on against a side of Pompey's capabilities.
The midfielder was pleased with the manner of his goal, but was disappointed it counts for very little with the O's losing, however, he did feel the performance showed signs of improvement following the previous defeats to Barnet and Exeter City.
