The O’s travel to Harlow Town today (kick-off 3pm) for our second pre-season game of the 2017-18 campaign.
The O’s are looking for their first off-season victory after suffering a 4-0 defeat against a Tottenham Hotspur XI on Wednesday. Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, Kyle Walker-Peters, Jaden Brown and Will Miller were all on the scoresheet for Spurs in the behind-closed-doors friendly at Hotspur Way.
Hosts Harlow Town get their pre-season campaign underway today, with Hawks boss Danny Chapman looking to build on last season’s 10th place finish in the Bostik League.
Following today’s fixture the Hawks will then face Ware, St Neots, St Albans City, Cheshunt, Hertford, Cambridge City and Aveley before getting their 2017-18 campaign underway at Harrow Borough on August 12.
The O’s utilised the whole squad at Tottenham on Wednesday by fielding two different XI’s in the first and second half, and could do something similar with supporters getting a first chance to see new signings David Mooney, Joe Widdowson, Charlie Lee, Jake Caprice, Alex Lawless, Christian Scales and Macauley Bonne. Defender George Elokobi will not feature however.
The trip to the Harlow Arena will also provide Orient fans with a first opportunity to meet Head Coach Steve Davis who will take to the dugout for the first time since his appointment on Monday.
Tickets are available on the gate, with prices as followed:
Concessions (60+/Students): £6 (proof of eligibility may be required)
Under 18s: FREE (proof of age will be required)
Supporters have been advised to arrive early due to a big crowd expected at the Harlow Arena.
