PREVIEW: Grainger - 'There are no individuals'

10 March 2017

Goalkeeper keen to build on Newport win

Orient goalkeeper Charlie Grainger is urging the O's to build on the positives of last weekend's win at Newport when hosting Grimsby Town in E10 tomorrow.

The 20-year-old made his first start of the season in the important victory in South Wales, and was delighted to be back in the fold after a long absence as well as keep a clean sheet - the O's fifth of the league campaign.

Now the England under-18 international is after more of the same from the O's and feels they need to continue to perform collectively as a group once more when welcoming the Mariners to the Matchroom Stadium.

Grainger also talks about the support and backing from fellow O's goalkeepers Alex Cisak and Sam Sargeant - 'The GK Union' and building up relationships with the O's defensive unit.
