REACTION: Webb - 'It's my lowest point in football'

15 March 2017

O's boss reflects on a tough night

O's manager Danny Webb admitted the manner of the 5-0 loss at Accrington Stanley was tough to take.

Billy Kee put the hosts in front at the break before Matty Pearson doubled the advantage shortly after the restart, before three goals in the last eight minutes of the game sealed an emphatic loss for the O's.

Webb was for the first time disappointed with the effort of some of his players, and felt if the game went on any longer than the defeat could have been heavier.

The 33-year-old admitted it is tough times for the O's, but will do his utmost to lift the players ahead of the visit of league leaders Doncaster Rovers to the Matchroom Stadium on Saturday.
