ENERGY BET PLAYER OF THE MONTH - December 2017

It's player of the month time for December, sponsored by our principal partner EnergyBet.

As principal partner, EnergyBet will be hosting the vote for player of the month on their Twitter feed each month, so please head to @energybet_com and cast your vote on the poll which will be made live at 10am tomorrow (January 5th).

And to reward fans for following and entering the competition, EnergyBet will reward one lucky fan each month with pair of hospitality tickets and the chance to present the Player of the Month award on the pitch before a game.

Four players will be nominated each month for you to select the winner, and the December Player of the Month nominees are:

Dean Brill

Dean's presence in goal can't be underestimated. His experience and leadership from being the first line of defence has coincided with an up turn in form and in December Dean pulled off some crucial saves including two clean sheets.

Macauley Bonne

Scoring 4 goals in December Macauley ensured the O's climbed the league table and also recorded victories over league leaders at the time Sutton United, plus wins over Maidstone and Dagenham & Redbridge. His work ethic and clinical finishing was great during the month.

Josh Coulson

Josh's reassuring presence at the back was evident for all to see and this helped deliver two clean sheets against Maidstone and Dagenham & Redbridge. But to get on the score sheet in in the win over Dagenham was a just rewards for some top performances during the month.

Alex Lawless

The engine room of the team throughout the month, Alex was the unsung hero last month with top performances covering every blade of grass. His best display arguably was that against Sutton United, winning tackle after tackle providing the platform for the team to score a big win.
