The O’s welcome Southend United to The Breyer Group Stadium for the Club’s final first-team friendly ahead of the new season.
Justin Edinburgh’s side come into the game having drawn away to St Albans City, having lost just once in pre-season so far - a 5-4 defeat to ProLiga side Benfica B.
Southend United will be looking to take the next step in 2018/19 after a 10th position finish last season, the Essex-based side only losing four times following the appointment of Chris Powell.
The Shrimpers were last in action on July 24 when a young-side defeated Bishops Stortford 0-3, the goals coming from Amadou Ba (x2) and Theo Robinson.
The side have won twice in pre-season so far, defeating Great Wakering Rovers and Bishops Stortford while drawing to Leeds United and Aberdeen’s Development Squad while losing 6-0 to Tottenham Hotspur.
The O’s will be boosted by the returns of Ruel Sotiriou and Joe Widdowson, both of whom are likely to be involved in tomorrow’s squad.
The O’s will still be without Dale Gorman and Matt Harrold, who are making progress with their recoveries from injury.
