The O’s are back in E10 tomorrow afternoon (3pm kick-off) when they welcome Ebbsfleet United to the Matchroom Stadium in the Vanarama National League.
Justin Edinburgh’s men look ahead to this fixture on the back of a 3-2 defeat in the FA Trophy Quarter Final on Tuesday night in Gateshead.
Ebbsfleet make the trip to East London in good form having won four of their last five games, the only defeat coming against fourth placed Tranmere Rovers.
The last time the two sides met on November 11 proved to be former Head Coach Steve Davis’ final game in-charge of the O’s as he watched the O’s fall to a 2-1 defeat in-front of the BT Sport cameras.
The O's have been in good form since, failing to be beaten in thirteen of the next eighteen games following Justin Edinburgh's appointment.
O’s quartet of Dan Holman, Sam Ling, Marvin Ekpiteta and Nathan Mavila are available for selection this weekend having been cup tied and ineligible for the FA Trophy fixture at Gateshead.
Craig Clay is still recovering from the illness that kept him out of the team that travelled to Gateshead in the FA Trophy on Tuesday night.
Alex Lawless is likely to be out of this weekend’s fixture, after he sustained a hip injury in training following the fixture at Dover Athletic.
George Elokobi made a return to training this week but remains a doubt for this weekend’s fixture as he regains fitness.
The fitness of Jobi McAnuff is still waiting to be assessed after the midfielder picked up a neck injury two weeks ago.
