The O’s are on the road again today (kick-off 7:45pm), when they travel to Gateshead for the FA Trophy Quarter Final replay.
Justin Edinburgh’s men make the trip to The Heed on the back of a 1-0 defeat at Dover on the weekend in the only fixture to survive the weather conditions in the National League.
The last time the two teams met, Orient were 3-0 ahead thanks to goals from Josh Koroma, Ebou Adams and Josh Coulson, when a Gateshead goal in the 68th minute from Danny Johnson sparked a comeback. Another Johnson goal followed by a 90th minute Richard Peniket leveller ensured Gateshead a replay.
Gateshead come in to this fixture having had their game at Tranmere Rovers postponed due to poor weather, meaning the last game they played was against the O’s in the dramatic 3-3 draw on February 24.
Dan Happe and James Brophy have overcome their weekend illnesses and will both be available for selection this evening.
Dan Holman, Sam Ling, Marvin Ekpiteta and Nathan Mavila are ineligible for the FA Trophy and will not feature this evening.
