The referee for tonight’s fixture at home to Torquay United will be Alan Dale, assisted by Darren Knox and Kieran Bailey with Jeffery Aldous as the fourth official.
Dale has taken charge of Leyton Orient on one occasion this season, which came at home to Chester on November 21. Six cards were distributed that day, including one red card for Jamie Sendles-White on the stroke of half-time moments before Ross Hannah's penalty was saved by Sam Sargeant.
Also in that dramatic fixture, then Interim Head Coach Ross Embleton was shown to the stands by Dale for the remainder of the game late in the first half, minutes before Dan Happe's goal was harshly disallowed.
The official has taken charge of 48 National League game this season, brandishing 48 yellow cards, two red cards and three penalties. Dale has also refereed in the FA Cup this season where he handed out seven yellow cards and a penalty in the tie between Leatherhead and Billericay Town.
