PREVIEW: Maidenhead United (A)

4 October 2018

The O’s travel to Maidenhead United’s York Road in the Vanarama National League tomorrow afternoon.

Justin Edinburgh’s men come in to the game on the back of their first defeat of the season against Sutton United last weekend.

A single second half Sutton goal was enough to halt the strong run of the O’s who had previously broke the Club record for the best start in history.

Maidenhead come in to the game with three wins in their last six games including a 3-1 victory over Chesterfield.

However last weekend, Alan Devonshire’s men were on the end of a heavy 3-0 defeat at York Road against Salford City which now leaves the Berkshire side in 16th place 12 points behind the O’s.

TEAM NEWS

Head Coach Justin Edinburgh confirmed James Brophy and George Elokobi are both nearing full-fitness in his recent pre-game interview.

With the inclusion of the two, Edinburgh will have a familiar selection headache having kept a consistent side for the previous ten games.
