Leyton Orient defender Marvin Ekpiteta has been named the Manarama National League Player of the Month for September.
The 22-year-old, who has been named the Club's Player of the Month for both August and September, has been rewarded following a fine month which saw him keep three clean sheets and score his third goal of the season.
Ekpiteta told leytonorient.com, "I'm very honoured to be named Player of the Month. I've been working hard towards it and its nice to be rewarded. I have to thanks my teammates, the Gaffer and all the staff at the Club. When we play, we play for each other. When we train, we train for each other. Everyone is together."
Head Coach Justin Edinburgh said, "Really well deserved. His performances since he got into the team have been excellent and he's improving all the time. Not only has he got recognition with England C, he's won our Player of the Month for August and September and he's backed that up with the league Player of the Month for September, and nothing which he hasn't deserved."
