The O's enjoyed an excellent September, scoring 16 goals as they won five matches. Here are the four nominees for Player of the Month.
Marvin Ekpiteta - The young defender has been an ever-present in the O's defence this month, propping up with several top performances as he kept three clean sheets. He netted a vital goal in the 5-1 win over Braintree, and was even named Man of the Match in the Club's only defeat of the season. Having started the season as third choice, he's made himself one of the first names on the team sheet!
Jobi McAnuff - Captain fantastic! The winger has enjoyed a fantastic month that has seen him put on the National League Team of the Week three times in September, capped off with two goals in the victory over Harrogate Town.
Macauley Bonne - The Zimbabwean warrior scored six times in September, with a hattrick in the 5-1 victory over Braintree Town. He also scored in key games against Solihull Moors, Barnet and Harrogate Town as he placed himself at the top of the National League Top Goalscorer list.
Dean Brill - The stopper was key throughout September, keeping three clean sheets and making some instrumental saves as the O's looked to hold leads. His first half save against Chesterfield, from Zavon Hine's effort, was excellent while he made great stops in the games against Solihull Moors, FC Halifax Town and Harrogate Town.
