We’re on the road to the Super 6 Stadium this afternoon as we take on Hartlepool in the Vanarama National League tomorrow afternoon (3pm kick-off).
Justin Edinburgh’s men were in Cup action last weekend when Jamie Turley’s second-half header secured a place for the O’s in the Quarter Final of the FA Trophy.
Hartlepool had a weekend off last Saturday as their fixture against Ebbsfleet United was postponed due to adverse weather conditions.
The Pools will be boosted by the permanent appointment of Craig Hignett as manager following a reshuffle of Club officials.
The last time Orient met Hartlepool was earlier this season in-front of a sell-out crowd at The Breyer Group Stadium. The game ended goalless and the point kept the O’s within one point of then League leaders Salford City.
Orient will continue to be without long term absentees Josh Coulson, Marvin Ekpiteta and James Dayton.
However, Shadrach Ogie made his debut last weekend after he received his international clearance and could be included in Edinburgh’s match day squad in the National League for the first time.
Watch 26 of The O’s Show featuring Club Captain Jobi McAnuff who picks his best seven aside team as he recently passed his 700th career game here.
The referee tomorrow afternoon will be Martin Woods, he will be assisted by David Hunt and Daniel Locker with Jonny Urwin as the fourth official. Woods has taken charge of 15 National League fixtures this season and has handed out 53 yellow cards, one red card and three penalties. The official has overseen Orient once this term, that came in our 4-0 victory over Havant & Waterlooville in October 2018.
