WIN: Nominate the lady in your life for Wrexham competition

21 February 2019

In recognition of International Women’s Day (8th March) our home match against Wrexham on Saturday 9 March (12.35pm KO) has been designated as Ladies Day, where we’d like to celebrate female fans, of all ages, who play their part in supporting the O’s.

Ahead of this game we’re launching a special competition where we want you to nominate the favourite girl / lady in your life right now and tell us what’s so great about them.

Does your mum drive you to every O’s game, home and away? Has your wife, daughter or sister achieved something special recently? Or maybe a friend has been there every step of the way during tough times? No matter the circumstances, relationship or age, we’d love to hear about them and give them some recognition.

You can enter the competition by completing this simple form by Friday 1st March.

We’ll pick 12 winners from the entries we receive and they’ll enjoy a match day against Wrexham to remember with a friend, starting with a warm welcome in the Fans for Diversity Hub in the East Stand. They’ll then have the very important role of flag bearers and part of the guard of honour as the two teams enter the pitch in this televised Vanarama National League fixture, before watching the game from complimentary East Stand seats.

Elsewhere on Ladies Day we’ll be including as many of your messages as we can in the match day programme, profiling some of the ladies behind-the-scenes at the club and catching up with the latest news from Leyton Orient Women FC.

Tickets for this National League fixture, which is being broadcast live on BT Sport, are available to purchase now at
