NEWS: Profits from Norwich City XI game to go to The Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation

8 July 2019

Leyton Orient is pleased to announce that profits made from our final pre-season fixture against Norwich City XI on July 27, will go to the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation.

The game marks the first time the squad return to play at The Breyer Group Stadium following the tragic passing of former Head Coach Justin Edinburgh.

Justin’s family have since set up a foundation in his memory, The Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation aims to raise money in support of a charity related to heart and/or brain health.

The JE3 Foundation will also be campaigning to change the law to ensure all health and fitness clubs across the UK are equipped with defibrillators.

The initial target set by Justin’s family is £15,000 and the public have been incredibly generous in their support of the foundation which has currently raised just over £13,000.

Our first pre-season friendly at Harlow Town on Saturday saw crowds raise over £800 in an amazing effort, while a fundraising game at Billericay Town against Mark Wright’s All Star XI raised money in Justin’s memory.

Tickets for the game can be bought on our ticketing site
