We are at The Breyer Group Stadium early tomorrow afternoon (12:35pm kick off) when we take on Wrexham AFC in the Vanarama National League.
Head Coach Justin Edinburgh oversaw back-to-back away wins in the last week, the latest result was a 2-3 victory over Barrow AFC on Tuesday night, but will be glad to be back on home turf.
The O’s were three goals ahead thanks to Sam Ling, Jay Simpson and Jordan Maguire-Drew but the hosts pulled a couple of goals back late in the second-half and Orient had to hold on for the three points.
Wrexham come into this fixture currently sitting top of the league having played a game more than us.
Tomorrow’s visitors snatched victory at the Racecourse Ground against Chesterfield, when Akil Wright’s second-half strike saw them clear.
There are no fresh injury worries for Edinburgh. Dan Happe was withdrawn early from our midweek fixture as a precaution from a tight hamstring, but should be available for tomorrow’s game.
James Dayton was in the squad that travelled to Barrow on Tuesday and may be in contention for a place in tomorrow’s matchday squad.
Sam Ling spoke to leytonorient.com ahead of this weekend's top of the table clash here.
This afternoon’s referee is James Oldham, he will be assisted by Aaron Farmer, Mike Desborough with Ryan T Atkin as the fourth official. Oldham has taken charge of the O’s on two occasions this season. The first came in our 1-1 draw at Eastleigh and the second was in our single goal defeat at Boreham Wood. So far this season the Derbyshire born official has taken charge of 13 National League games, handed out 46 yellow cards, two red cards and five penalties thus far.
