The Club is delighted to confirm striker Matt Harrold has signed a new one-year contract to stay at the O's.
The 34-year-old joined the Club on August 31, 2017, and has made 64 appearances and scored 12 goals during his time at the O's. Harrold made a significant impact off the bench this season, scoring important goals against Halifax Town, Harrogate Town, Dover Athletic, and Solihull Moors as the O's claimed the National League title.
Harrold netted a goal every 146 minutes this season and was also the Club's top scorer in the FA Trophy where he netted three times as the O's reached the final. Matt is noted for his sharp humour and resemblance to Prince Harry.
Matt spoke to leytonorient.com after signing his new contract, "I've enjoyed this season so much, I've enjoyed playing more near the end and I'm looking forward to next season... staying with this great group and hopefully achieving more success at this Club"
