Midfielder Lydia first joined the Orient Girls’ Centre of Excellence at the age of nine and made her first appearance for the Orient Women’s team in the SE Combination at the age of 15. Between 2007 and 2010, as well as playing for Bangor University, she was part of the Caernarfon Town team that was League and Cup winners in 2008-2009 and won promotion into the Welsh Premier League. She also represented Wales at the 2008 British University Games. In 2010, she joined Leyton Ladies FC, who became the first British team to win Holland’s Gramsbergen International Women's Tournament in 2011 and signed for KIKK United in 2013. Lydia is immediately recognisable not just from her speedy, skillful running with the ball but also for her stylish pink boots!
